About Men’s Gold Rings

In the past ten to fifteen years there has been a resurgence in men’s jewellery. Medallions are, of course, consigned to the dustbin of ‘did you really wear that Dad?’ history, but rings are now an integral part of men’s fashion. Men’s gold rings are no longer limited to the wedding finger of the married man or to being fumbled with on the pinkie finger of the upper classes. The majority of high street men’s retailers carry some jewellery and all good jewellers have a healthy range of men’s rings to appeal to everyone.

Wearing a ring has become a more standard part of a man’s wardrobe in recent times, and this is reflected in the variety available, especially in gold, whether white gold rings or the more traditional yellow gold rings. Signet rings, set with a single gemstone/semi precious stone or many smaller stones (often diamonds) are a popular choice, as are engraved gold rings, often with a Celtic or tribal design. Men’s gold rings in more elaborate designs are also popular – knotted or twisted gold, a combination of yellow and white gold and/or titanium, or even with bands of rubber inset in the gold.

Wedding rings are still, of course, the most common form of men’s gold ring available and bought, but even these have become less standard. There are hundreds of designs available, so you can have exactly the style you want: traditional plain gold wedding bands, white gold rings, engraved, diamond-set men’s rings… the list is (almost) endless.

Along with necklaces and chains, men’s gold rings have become a standard part of male fashion and style – and there’s something out there for everyone. Even the last of the medallion men!
